Who we are
This website is run by UMR 20 Ltd (company number 11029096), registered office 15 High Street, Brackley, Northamptonshire, NN13 7DH, on behalf of TIDAL, the Independent Distributor Alliance. UMR 20 Ltd is the data controller for information collected through this website.

What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect:
- Your business name, your name, email address and phone number
- Your bodyshop postcode, and the area and region it falls in
- Your plan interest, monthly paint spend, current paint system, number of spray booths and any message
- The name of the business that referred you, if you give one
- Your consent to be contacted, and the date and time of your enquiry
When you use the postcode finder or RFU calculator, the postcode and figures you enter are used in your browser to show results. The postcode is sent to postcodes.io to find its location. We don't store it unless you send an enquiry.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and arrange a visit or demo. We rely on your consent, given with the tick box on the form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- To pass your enquiry to the TIDAL distributor covering your postcode, so they can contact you. That distributor then uses your details for its own dealings with you.
- To run the referral programme, so we can thank the subscriber who referred you once your subscription is active.
- To keep records and improve the scheme, for example counting enquiries by area. This is in our legitimate interests.
Who we share it with
- The TIDAL distributor nearest your postcode, and TIDAL's central team if your enquiry needs to be reassigned
- Supabase, which stores enquiries for us in its London (eu-west-2) data centre
- Vercel, which hosts the website and keeps short-term technical logs
- postcodes.io, which looks up your postcode's location
If you sign up, your equipment subscription is a contract directly with PPG Industries (UK) Ltd, which will give you its own privacy information. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then delete them. If you become a VALUE-PRO customer, your TIDAL distributor keeps its own records for as long as it needs them under its terms and the law.
Cookies and similar technology
This website doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. The partner portal stores a sign-in token in your browser so members stay logged in; this is strictly necessary and only used by signed-in members. The page loads fonts from Google Fonts and map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which receive your IP address to deliver them.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email paul@umr20.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
