VALUE-PRO Waterborne Basecoat VP100
An easy-to-use waterborne basecoat with 66 tinters covering solids, metallics and pearls, matched to PPG's library of over 80,000 colour formulas in LINQ Color.

| Coats | Single coats to coverage, then a light coat at reduced pressure on metallics. Solids don't need the final light coat. |
| Flash between coats | 10–15 minutes at 20ºC (below 50% humidity), or until fully matt. Air blowers shorten the flash. |
| Before clearcoat | 20–30 minutes at 20ºC (below 50% humidity), or until fully matt |
| Substrates | VALUE-PRO 2K Primer Surfacer, or existing paintwork in sound condition |
| Preparation | P360 or finer dry, P800 wet. Clean with VP829-2390 Panel Wipe first. |
| VOC (ready to use) | Max. 420 g/litre (EU category IIB.d) |
Blending usually needs no extra products: extend ready-to-use thinned basecoat into the prepared surrounding area at low pressure with an arcing motion. VALUE-PRO UHS Clearcoat is recommended over the basecoat.
